Duplicate or Unexpected Charges

Charged twice or charged after cancelling? Why it can happen and what to send us so we can look into it.

Seeing a charge you didn't expect is never fun. If you've been charged twice, or charged after you cancelled, let us know and we'll look into it with you right away.

Why this can happen

  • Cancelling close to your renewal date. If a cancellation goes through just before the billing cycle runs, the renewal can still be processed.

  • Changes to your payment details. Updating your card or plan can occasionally cause a timing issue with the payment processor.

What to send us

Email [email protected] or send us a message through the chat on your Dashboard with:

  • The date of each charge

  • The amount of each charge

  • The email address on your SocialJet account

  • The date you cancelled, if you did

We'll check your charges against our billing records and follow up with you directly.

Tip: to avoid a charge you don't want, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Your renewal date is on your Billing page.
